Joani Wafer received all of the heart-felt get well cards that we made and wrote back to thank us. Please read her letter below…
“A huge thanks to all of you for making my day a happy one! I was so pleased when I read all your cards…they were all so creative….and the nice messages you sent with your cards were much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to make me a card. I felt better right away as I was reading them. I am back at home now, resting and on my way back to recovery.
Keep up the good work with Kids Korps. You are all special, devoting your time to helping others. You are making a big difference in your community with your dedication and acts of kindness. I am proud of you all.”

Details: Our Kids Korps Founder, Joani Wafer, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Mid-November. She immediately began a regimen of inpatient chemotherapy, and has been hospitalized since that time.
Joani is fighting a great battle and needs a lot of support and prayers. It has understandably been a shock to the Wafer family, and is a very stressful time for them.
You can help support Joani and the Wafer family by making cards for Joani and her family. She and her family will undoubtedly get strength from such an outpouring of kindness from our Kids Korps community.
Please mail the cards to the Kids Korps Office:
